Shocking footage shared online shows a woman being knocked out clean by a flying bike tyre following a street brawl with police.<\/p>\n
The incident occurred in the Wern Las area of Rhosllanerchrugog, Wales, yesterday (Thursday, September 21).<\/p>\n
Police said they were called to reports of public disorder shortly before 5pm. The video shows a crowd outside a residential home clashing with baton-wielding officers. <\/p>\n
Towards the end of the video, while police look to be restraining one individual on the floor, a tyre from a bike flies through the air and wallops a bystander in the head. She appears to drop to the ground unconscious. <\/p>\n

Today (Friday, September 22) police released a statement confirming that a woman was taken to hospital following the incident. Police also said a young child was caught by synthetic pepper spray during the chaos, but they did not sustain any injuries. Five arrests were made.<\/p>\n
The statement read: "Five people have been arrested following an incident in Rhosllanerchrugog yesterday (Thursday, September 21). Shortly before 5pm, officers were called to reports of public disorder in the Wern Las area.<\/p>\n

"A woman was taken to hospital with injuries and a 25-year-old man was subsequently arrested on suspicion of assault, affray and threats to damage property. As a result of the incident, three officers were assaulted and injured, while a further two sustained injuries.<\/p>\n
"Two men, aged 25 and 27, and two women aged 23 and 31 have also been arrested on suspicion of offences in relation to the incident, including affray, threats to kill and to damage property and assaulting emergency workers.<\/p>\n

"A young child within proximity of the disorder was caught by Captor spray, but did not sustain any injuries."<\/p>\n
