A group of flatmates who were gutted at not being allowed a dog were given a huge surprise after they wrote to a neighbour asking to hang out with their pup.<\/p>\n

Jack McCrossan, from Scotland, and his three flatmates, were rendered heartbroken when their landlord informed them that they weren't allowed to have any pets.<\/p>\n

The four of them adore animals, and having had pets all their lives, they were beginning to struggle until they composed the brilliant plan of asking if they could walk their neighbour's dog.<\/p>\n

In a well-written letter, the boys said: \u201cWe are four engineers that have recently moved into the area in the past 3-4months.<\/p>\n

\u201cOur house is a comprised of an Englishman, two Scotts and a Welshman. Diversity.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe other day, we noticed a four-legged friend looking at us out the window when we arrived home from work.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe or she looked like the goodest boy or girl there is.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf you ever need someone to walk him or her, we will gladly do so.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf you ever get bored – we know you never will, but we can dream – we are more than happy to look after him or her.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf you want to come over and bring him or her to brighten up our day, you are more than welcome.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf you want to walk past our balcony windows so we can see him or her, please do.<\/p>\n
