Two 13-year-olds have been charged with murdering a man who was "shot dead in his sleep".
The boy and girl are accused of killing Rene Ray Rodriguez Jr, 20, who was fatally shot at least four times in his home in San Antonio, Texas, on Sunday.
Police said Mr Rodriguez Jr was shot the first time while he slept, then three more times after he got out of bed and collapsed on the floor.
Each of the teens faces a charge of murder. The pair accused of the crime have not been named.
Earlier in the investigation, the police said they were seeking the boyfriend of Mr Rodriguez Jr's sister.
The victim's father, who lives at the same address, was awakened by the sound of gunfire and discovered his son's lifeless body. Police said there were no signs of forced entry at the residence.

At the early stages of the investigation, police said they were looking for the boyfriend of Rodriguez's sister.
Neighbour Tabitha Farris said that she knows the victim's family, and that her daughter is friends with a teenage girl who lives in the house.
The San Antonio Police Department said that the police "do not confirm relationships".
