The coastal village in Sydney, Australia, is an ideal spot for scuba diving, snorkelling, and swimming and it gets prettier at night with its dark skies.

The marine park on the South Coast of New South Wales is home to bottlenose dolphins, seals, penguins, and sea birds. During the annual whale migration, from May to November, whales visit the sanctuary.

Visitors can also charter boats for a deep-sea fishing adventure. Close to the marine park is Booderee National Park which is rich with Aboriginal heritage.

The park is an excellent location for swimming, bushwalking, and birdwatching. There are also several picnic spots.

As the sun sets, the town immerses itself in the peaceful atmosphere. With minimal pollution in the area, take a blanket, find a spot away from the city lights, and spend an evening marvelling at the stars and constellations above.

Many restaurants are open till late at night so you can grab a meal once you are done gazing at the mesmerising sky.

“The water is clear, the sand is like flour and the waves are big enough to have a great time jumping them. Keep your eyes wide open and you’ll easily spot dolphins enjoying the waves around.”
