The Queen is unlikely to meet Lilibet "anytime soon" because of the "frostiness" with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, a royal commentator has claimed.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex welcomed their daughter into the world last month, and senior royals were delighted by the news.
It is believed the couple introduced Lili to Her Majesty during a video call.
However, royal commentator Jonathan Sacerdoti thinks it will be a while before they meet in person.
He told US Weekly: “Just remember that the Queen hasn’t met her latest granddaughter. It doesn’t seem likely that she’s going to anytime soon.
“She’s barely seen Archie for quite a while. On a human family level, forgetting them being the royal family, there’s already quite some frostiness and distance there."
“So I suspect if things can go well, [then] maybe they’ll have the occasional meeting, but I don’t think it seems very high on anyone’s agenda.”
Harry and William were reunited in the grounds of Kensington Palace earlier this month for the unveiling of a statue of their mum Princess Diana.
They were pictured chatting and smiling during the ceremony, but Harry left briskly afterwards.
However, Mr Sacerdoti believes they have a long way to go before the rift is healed.
He added: “It’s perhaps unlikely that they’re going to be spending what we would think of as quality family time together at Christmas and New Years and birthdays.”
The Queen has invited the Duke and Duchess of Sussex back to the UK next year for her Platinum Jubilee celebrations, the Mail on Sunday earlier reported.
Her Majesty will mark 70 years on the throne, and Brits will enjoy an extended bank holiday from Thursday, June 2, to Sunday, June 5.

During the Trooping The Colour ceremony, royals typically get into horse-drawn carriages before taking to the Buckingham Palace balcony.
In 2019, Harry and Meghan travelled alongside Kate Middleton and Camilla.
Royal author and expert Marlene Koenig, who runs royalmusings, believes next year’s ceremony will be markedly different if the couple attend.
She told the Daily Star: "Will they be there? I hope so.
"I would not expect them to be in the carriage the way they were for the Trooping next year, as they were two years [ago] because they’re no longer senior royals."
Marlene added: "They will not be in a carriage, but would most likely join the other members of the Royal Family on the balcony."
