Prince Harryand Meghan Markle have been chatting withPrince WilliamandKate Middletonover Zoom, according to a royal expert.
Tensions had been high since the Duke and Sussex’s departure from the monarchy last year.
In March, Meghan even claimed that Kate had made her cry during her bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey.
However, the royal couples have reportedly been trying to patch things up.
Stewart Pearce, author of Diana: The Voice of Change, says the couples are now “very close”.
He told US Weekly: “I know that the four are talking with one another and they’re talking by Zoom [and by] FaceTime.
“They’re very close with one another.”
He said the two couples are “very different” from each other.
Mr Pearce went on: “Their lens on the world is highly individualised.
“And what’s remarkable is that they all totally respect [each other], but this lens is different.”
The birth of Lilibet has helped unify the royals, according to a source.
An insider earlier toldUS Weekly: “Tensions have eased between Meghan and Kate.
“Kate even sent Meghan a gift for the baby. They’re in a better place and have exchanged texts since the birth of Lilibet.”
During her Oprah sit down, Meghan responded to reports that Kate had made her cry – and insisted the opposite had happened during a row over bridesmaid dresses.
However, the insider added: “The bridesmaid dress incident took place so long ago and [it] feels pointless to hold onto the anger. It’s wasted energy. They’ve called it a truce.”
In the same interview, Harry told viewers that he and William were on “different paths”.
The brothers were reunited for an unveiling of a statue in tribute to their late mum Princess Diana in July.
They were pictured chatting and smiling, and interacted with members of the Spencer family.
Harry may return in September for another Diana memorial event,The Sunreported.
The Autumn gathering will bring together family, friends and charity leaders to celebrate the life of Diana and the charitable work she carried out.
