The gunman who shot five people dead in Plymouth moaned he was an "ugly virgin" and compared himself to a "Terminator" before the attack.
Jake Davison, a scaffolder in his 20s, targeted his victims in the Keyham area of the city around 6pm on Thursday, August 12.
He died along with two women and two other men at the scene, with another woman later pronounced dead in hospital.
One of the victims is believed to be a child under the age of 10.
Prior to the attack, Davison posted a string of videos on his YouTube account, which has since been taken down for violating its guidelines.
In his final upload, Davison complained that he was a "fat" and "ugly virgin".
He told his followers: "Most people would have been completely utterly broken if they had lived my f*****g life…I'm surprised I even made it this far to be honest.
"I'm not trying to say pity party, or I'm the biggest victim in the world. But I know for a fact that if people had lived my f****** life, they wouldn't have lasted."
Davison continued: "I'm always gonna keep trying, as long as you're breathing air.
"It's like in the Terminator, the whole premise of the Terminator movies is that everything's rigged against you, there's no hope for humanity.
"We're on the brink of extinction, these machines are unstoppable killing machines that can't be beaten. But yet, humanity still tries to fight to the end.
"I know it's a movie but I like to think sometimes I'm a Terminator."
He also referenced being an incel – an involuntary celibate – and blackpill,a misogynist theory which claims his failures with women were determined at birth.
On his Facebook page, Davison shared US propaganda, Donald Trump quotes, and liked Incel TV.
Eyewitness Sharron Turner, 57, told The Times he was dressed in black and grey and armed with a semi-automatic weapon when the attack unfolded.
She said: "We heard a number of loud bangs which I said sounded like gunshots.
"Then he ran into the park and there were further shots. I heard someone say he had shot his brother."
