The former First Lady turned 51 on Monday and took to Twitter to thank her 1.7 million followers. She tweeted: “Thank you to everyone for the wonderful birthday wishes!”
Reports suggest Donald Trump and Republican officials used the occasion to ask supporters to donate to the ex-President’s party.
Well wishers were advised to donate $100 (£72) to “defend the Trump legacy”, The Times said.
The newspaper said that, over the weekend, emails and texts were sent to Republican supporters asking them to sign a digital birthday card.
An email sent on Sunday read: “We know how much the First Lady means to YOU so we’re going to give you ONE MORE chance to sign her card, but you must ACT FAST!”
The message is said to be reminiscent of Mr Trump’s old tweets before he was banned from the social media site.
Once supporters signed the card, they were directed to another page that encouraged them to make a donation to the Republican party, the report added.
The page is said to have featured a picture of Mrs Trump and automatically recommended $100 as an appropriate donation amount.
It read: “We are working hard to defend the Trump Legacy from Biden and the Radical Left, but we need you to join us!
“We only need a few more donations today to stay on track will you quickly step up and help close the gap?”

Mr Trump, who has been banned from several social media sites after the Capitol riots on January 6, has not publicly commented on his wife’s birthday.
The Trumps relocated to their private Mar-a-Lago resort in Palm Beach, Florida, in late January as Joe Biden took office.
Mrs Trump has not made an official public appearance since the couple left the White House.
However, her husband has remained active on US media and continues to support the Republican party despite previous rumours he might make his own political group.
