Meghan gushes over LA saying Harry ‘loves it’ as Ellen praises couple

Meghan Markle was given a standing ovation as she walked out to her first solo interview with TV host Ellen DeGeneres.
The Duchess of Sussex, who came out breaming to Lizzo song Good as Hell, could not hide her joy as Ellen brought up her home state of California.
Prince Harry and Meghan moved to LA together and Meghan was quick to tell people he “loves it” in the states.
She said: “We moved here during lockdown and exactly as things were shut down, so we have had a lot of time to spend at home and creating our home but I think it is just the lifestyle and the weather is pretty great. But we are just happy.”
The Duchess of Sussex also revealed she will be cooking Thanksgiving dinner at home because she loves to cook.
She said: ““It’s our second Thanksgiving at home in California.
“It’ll be nice, it’ll be really nice.”
A smiley Meghan talked about her childhood with Ellen, who she says is a friend of over a decade.
Ellen brought up the couple’s inclusion in Time Magazine's most ‘influential’ people feature, which was mocked at the time by some on social media.

The Duchess of Success also revealed the couple’s Halloween costumes with Archie briefly dressed as a dinosaur and daughter Lili dressed as a “little skunk”.
Meghan also recalled a post-apocalypse themed Halloween party that her and Harry, who she nicknames 'H', went to when they were dating as they disguised themselves in costumes so they were able to go out without any attention.

She also handed out copies of her new book, The Bench, to members of the audience.
Meghan and Ellen also played a prank on a street vendor with the host telling Meghan want to do.
The Duchess of Sussex appearance on The Ellen Show comes eight months after the Sussexes' bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey that caused a stir with the royal family.
