Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's fans are furious over claims the couple "leaked" a message they sent to Prince William and Kate Middleton.
A spokesman confirmed the Duke and Duchess of Sussex had "privately congratulated" the pair on their 10-year anniversary.
No details of what their message to the Cambridges said were given, but it hasn't stopped some from blasting the couple as "hypocritical."
Royal expert Angela Levin suggested Meghan and Harry may have publicised it "through their huge PR group of people."
Another, Phil Dampier, said the California-based duo should stop "leaking stories while pleading for privacy".
However, the couple were just responding to an inquiry from BAZAAR.com.
The claims have infuriated some royal fans, who believe the pair were just sending a loving message to a family member and shouldn't be receiving hate.
One Twitter user said: "Please stop baiting the haters, you don't have a clue about what Harry and his wife did or didn't do for William's anniversary."
A second said: "Oh no, these people must spew their ignorance and hatred at this couple because they left Britain."

"It's a message from one brother to another, just let them be," a fourth added.
For some, the news that Harry and Meghan are mending their ties with Kate and William will spark hopes of reconciliation.
The brothers' relationship had been in question after the Duke of Sussex told Oprah Winfrey the once close brothers were in a place of "space."
As the interview aired, Prince Philip lay in St Bartholomew’s hospital recovering from a heart operation and infection.
The Duke of Edinburgh had just under a month back at home before he passed away, aged 99, with his wife, Queen Elizabeth II at his side.
