A TikTok user's claims that she might be Madeleine McCann “don’t add up”, according to the head of a private detective agency hired by the missing tot's parents.
Julia Wendell, who says she has the same tell-tale eye defect as Madeleine, has turned to social media for support having been unable to get a response from police in Poland or the UK.
She has begged for a DNA test which would definitively prove whether she is or isn't the little British girl who disappeared from a holiday apartment in Praia da Luz, Portugal, in May 2007.

But Francisco Marco, director general of Metodo 3, a private detective firm hired by the McCanns, is unconvinced by Julia’s claims.
Speaking to Spanish newspaper El Independiente, the detective said: "Without knowing the details in depth, it doesn't add up to me. I don't think it's her."
Early in his investigation Marco had claimed that he knew exactly who had snatched the then-three-year-old, and was close to rescuing her from a paedophile gang based in North Africa.
Based on that information, he promised in April 2012, Madeleine would be home “by Christmas”.
Girl who says she's Madeleine McCann claims family have approached her to take DNA test
German prosecutors believe they already have the culprit for Madeleine's abduction and presumed murder; convicted sex offender Christian Brueckner, but have been unable to gather enough evidence for a prosecution.
His distinctive VW T3 Westfalia campervan was reportedly identified as having been near to the Praia da Luz resort in Portugal where the British girl went missing.
Brueckner has been previously convicted for sex crimes against young girls, as well as a number of burglaries. He is known to have been living in Portugal between 1995 and 2007 and is suspected of multiple rapes and other sexual offences during that period.
Girl who claims to be Madeleine McCann says her mum 'doesn't want to talk about it'
Julia has repeatedly stated that she “could” be Madeleine, saying that some traumatic event had wiped out almost all of her memories of her childhood.
She is 21 years old but believes she could have been given the wrong date for her birth. Madeleine was born in May 2003, making her age 19 if she is still alive today..
Her bio on Instagram says: "I think I can be Madeleine. I need DNA test.
"Police investigators from UK and Poland try to ignore me. I will tell my story in posts here. Help me."
Polish woman makes wild claim she's Madeleine McCann – and shares her 'evidence'
She says she can’t be sure of exactly who she is without being allowed a DNA test: "I don't remember being taken away. I mean, I don't remember almost my entire childhood."
The McCanns have told the Daily Star that they are "willing to look at all leads".
They said: "The family are taking no chances, they are willing to look at all leads. It is important they look at all of the factors, the girl does look similar. There’s no disputing that.
"If what she says is true, there is every chance it could be her. It all adds up."
