Manhunt for Wayne Rooney lookalike ‘on run from Coleen’ after boozer brawl
A Wayne Rooney doppelganger is being hunted by cops after a fight broke out at a pub.
When police posted a snap to Facebook of a man thought to have been in the boozer at the time off the brawl, hoping "someone will recognise him", they had no idea the grainy image would get so much attention online.
But internet sleuths were quick to spot that the alleged rowdy punter looked just like the former England, Manchester United and Derby County striker.

Northumbria Police launched the appeal on Monday (March 13) over a falling out at a boozer, aptly called The Derby, in South Shields, South Tyneside, on December 30.
The force issued the appeal saying: "It is believed he was in the area at the time of the incident."
One Facebook user, noting the man's similarities with the legendary footballer, commented: "Doubt Wayne Rooney would have been in that neck of the woods," while another added: "Wayne Rooney that."
Another joked that the DC United manager might be on the run from Coleen, his wife of nearly 14 years, jibing: "Wayne running from Coleen."

Others made fun of the quality of the image, with the blurry snap leaving some social media users none the wiser about what the possible perpetrator looks like.
One chimed in: "2023 and it looks like it was filmed on a potato," while another agreed, adding: "I've literally just been looking at photos took from a camera in 1897 clear as day & yet this photo is at least 125 years newer & this is the best quality you can come up with."
A 34-year-old has already been arrested in connection with the incident, police confirmed.
"An investigation was launched and a number of enquiries have been ongoing," the force wrote.
"A 34-year-old man was later arrested on suspicion of affray and has since been released on police bail, pending further enquiries.
"As part of their investigation, police have issued the image of a man they would like to speak to.
"It is believed that he was in the area at the time of the incident and could have information which assists the investigation."
