Kim Jong-Un ‘to meet Putin’s body double’ as Russian dictator ‘terminally ill’

Kim Jong-un will meet with Vladimir Putin's body double as the dictator battles a "terminal illness", new reports have claimed.

The North Korean supreme leader arrived in Russia today with the two leaders planning to hold a summit to discuss "bilateral relations, the situation in the region and in the global arena", according to the Kremlin.

But Russian opposition sources and Ukrainian military intelligence have claimed the real Putin, 70, hasn't been seen in public for more than a year following speculation the warlord is suffering from cancer.

Russian political analyst Dr Valery Solovey told mainstream opposition channel Khodorkovsky Live that Putin doppelgangers had been used in previous meetings and that the meeting with the North Korean president would be no exception.

"Since [Kim Jong-un], not without reason, is considered not a very insightful person, they decided that the double should cope," he said.

"For the double, these will be the most difficult negotiations during his short tenure as 'president' of Russia."

It's not the first time the channel has claimed Putin is using body doubles to do his bidding as he silently suffers from a killer disease.

Ukraine’s military intelligence chief Lieutenant General Kyrylo Budanov recently claimed the dictator was last seen in public "around 26 June 2022."

"There might be so many different reasons why Putin is not appearing in public," he added.

Budanov even said the dictator might already be dead, claiming some of Putin's features had changed after being replaced by a body double.

"The ears, [are] different. And it's like a fingerprint, each person's ear picture is unique. It cannot be repeated," he said.

He added the tyrant's body doubles also "have different habits, different mannerisms, different gaits, sometimes even different heights if you looked closely".

Meanwhile Dr Solovey said that even if Putin hasn't yet popped his clogs, he believes the allegedly cancer-ridden despot's days are numbered, claiming Putin wouldn't survive the autumn.

"[Putin] is in such a physical state that – and I am saying it very calmly – he will not make it through this autumn," he said.

"He feels very aggrieved by the fact that the world would go on after he’s gone. He won’t be able to use nuclear weapons now, he won’t be allowed to."

Kim Jong-un reportedly took a train into Russia today (Tuesday, September 12) but it is unclear when or where the two leaders – or rather, the North Korean leader and Russian lookalike – are set to meet.

A statement from the Kremlin said the "fully fledged" meeting was due to take place in the "coming days".

Kim Jong-un has already received all-star treatment – footage of his arrival show him stepping off his train onto a red carpet, where he was greeted by a Russian delegation and a brass band.

The dictator has already met with Russia's minister for natural resources, Alexander Kozlov.

The pair are believed to have discussed potential joint tourism and agricultural projects.
