Kate Middleton has left royal fans stunned after making a low-key appearance in a selfie video to talk about Children's Mental Health Week.
The Duchess of Cambridge, 39, dressed up in a Barbour jacket and a navy beanie while appearing to be filming on the grounds of her Norfolk home of Anmer Hall.
In the mobile phone footage shared on Kensington Royal Instagram account, Kate ditches her usual big wavy curls and shows her natural straight hair in front of the camera.
She also dons a £160 jacket from Barbour and a two-tone bobble hat.
Kate says: "This year's Children's Mental Health Week is all about expressing yourself – about finding creative ways in which to share your thoughts, ideas and feelings.
"So whether that's through photography, through art, through drama, through music or poetry – it's finding those things that make you feel good about yourself.
"And while this is Children's Mental Health Week there has never been a more important time to talk about parental wellbeing and mental health too.
"Last year you told me just how important this was, that many of us find it hard to prioritise. This is a hugely challenging time for us all so please look after yourself too.
"Find those ways in which to share your thoughts and your feelings or find someone to talk to because we really do need to be the very best versions of ourselves for the children in our care."
Viewers praised the Duchess for the positive message and the causal appearance in the video.
One said: "How lovely to see you like this."
"Thank you so sharing this vital message," a second added. "So many parents are struggling right now with their support systems shut down."
A third wrote: "Love her. Just so natural!"
