Ex-choir singer becomes millionaire by enacting sexual fantasies on OnlyFans
A Welsh woman has become the first woman in the UK to become a millionaire by selling videos of herself enacting men's sexual fantasies on OnlyFans.
Dannii Harwood, Neath, has made a revenue of £1 million through the website where subscribers pay for content.
It has seen a rise since the coronavirus outbreak as women turn towards it for an income.
"Ninety-five per cent of the money I have earned has come in just over 18 months," she told WalesOnline.
Men pay Dannii to enact their sexual fantasies, often talking to them on the phone.
The former choir singer has also opened up a separate account, a consultancy page for women who also want to make a living from the website.
"I have opened up a OnlyFans management company since the beginning of March and it has gone crazy," she said.
"Strippers and adult industry girls are now working from home because there are self-isolating. It is a really awful time. I would rather none of this was happening, I know people who are directly affected by it. Hopefully things will go back to normal.
"I had one girl who was a stripper and didn't want to have that one on one contact any more. In the first 10 days she made $5,500."
Dannii says she was "a bit of a swot" as a child and was bullied at school.
At 16, she received a scholarship to study performing arts at a college in Surrey, however after many attempts to break into the industry as a dancer she gave up and turned to the adult industry.
She says, despite the revenue of her page it is not very time-consuming to run it since becoming established.
"Now I don't have to do as much promotion," she said.
"In terms of content I only shoot about once a week and then I schedule my posts."
