Ms Trump, who attended Georgetown Law School, took part in a virtual ceremony on Saturday. In a tweet, President Trump wrote: “Great student, great school.”

“Just what I need is a lawyer in the family. Proud of you, Tiff!” he added.

A White House official told CNN Trump has invited his daughter to the White House Wednesday to celebrate with her in person.

Tiffany Trump’s mother, Marla Maples, told CNN of her daughter’s achievement: “I’m so grateful. She has worked so hard.”

She also posted a video on her Instagram account on Tuesday, lauding her “commitment to humanity”, and saying she sometimes did not sleep in order to study.

Lara Trump, Tiffany Trump’s sister-in-law, the wife of Eric Trump, tweeted: “I’m sure so many of you related, but always hard on us moms who love you so & and have prayed you through it (prayer hands emoji) @tiffanytrump and daddy @realdonaldtrump.”

Lara Trump also said the context of her graduation was “bittersweet” due to the coronavirus pandemic preventing a reunion between them to celebrate.

On Saturday, Ms Trump posted to her Instagram account a video the law institution made as a tribute to students.

As a caption, she wrote: “Congratulations to my fellow Georgetown Law’s Class of 2020! We did it! We are now #Georgetownlawyers!”

One of Tiffany Trump’s former Georgetown Law classmates told CNN she had a normal lifestyle within the university’s campus, considering her role as first daughter.

But one of the indications that she was in attendance was the presence of two black sedans outside the main campus security entrance; children of the President have full-time United States Secret Service protection.

“Most of the students just ignored her,” said the former classmate.

“The only difference is that her agents always attended classes with her, but she maintained a very low-profile.”

Ms Trump was accommodated in an off-campus apartment in Washington during term-time.

Audrey Pence, the youngest child of Vice President Mike Pence and Karen Pence, graduated Monday from Yale Law School.

Ms Pence held a “virtual celebration with family Zoom-ing in,” Kara Brooks, Karen Pence’s communications director, told CNN.

Ms Brooks added that the vice president, second lady, and Audrey’s fiancé, Daniel Tomanelli, “celebrated with Audrey at the Vice President’s residence.”
