The wet weather that has been in the area earlier this week could make another appearance Wednesday.
Denver will have a high of 63 degrees with a 30% chance of rain Wednesday, according to the National Weather Service in Boulder. Scattered showers and a few isolated thunderstorms are expected, with rainfall totals reaching less than a quarter of an inch. The low is 40 degrees Wednesday night.
Warm temperatures will return Thursday with a high of 75 on a dry and sunny day. Lows will dip to 46 degrees overnight.
Friday will rise to 82 degrees with the chance for an afternoon thunderstorm and 20 mph wind gusts. The low will be 50 degrees.
A storm system will affect the metro from Saturday through Monday. Potentially more widespread precipitation is possible Sunday into Monday.
