Denver weather today: Windy, sunny day expected Thursday

Thursday will bring more mild weather and some windy conditions to the area.

The high is expected to be 47 degrees Thursday, slightly cooler than the rest of the week so far, but the day will be sunny and breezy. Winds will be from 10 to 23 mph, with gusts up to 36 mph in Denver.

Some parts of the Urban Corridor could see gusts up to 50 mph, and the foothills could even see 60 mph gusts.

The mountains also have windy weather Thursday, and blowing snow could cause some minor travel impacts.

Light to moderate snowfall will continue to fall in the mountains through Thursday night.

Thursday night will be cool, as the low in Denver is 21 degrees, and the snowy conditions in the mountains will drop temperatures to single-digit temperatures or even a few degrees below zero.

Friday and Saturday will be similarly in the high 40s during the day and right around 20 degrees at night, and Sunday will start next week with a high of 57 degrees before snow returns to Denver’s forecast next Monday.
