Creep who held six Brit kids in cellar is grandson of hanged Nazi war criminal

The sick bloke who kept six children hidden in his cellar is the grandson of a notorious Nazi who was hanged as a war criminal.

Conspiracy theorist Tom Landon was arrested after police found three boys and three girls in his basement in rural Austria on Sunday (January 29.

Police breached the home of the 54-year-old – who claimed he was "no Josef Fritzl" – in Obritz, a tiny town around 80 km north of Vienna, to find six children and a 40-year-old woman, as well as a cache of guns, in the basement.

They appeared to have been born in Britain and were not registered as residents of Austria.

Landon was arrested by Austrian police after attacking social workers, who were carrying out an inspection of the property, with pepper spray.

He was released from custody on the same day, but is expected to be charged with resisting state authority.

Landon has spoken out to distance himself from comparisons to Josef Fritzl, the sicko who kept his daughter locked away in his basement for 24 years.

He said: "I have been accused of being the new Josef Fritzl but it couldn't be further from the truth.

"I am a philanthropist and above all a loving father."

Fritzl, who lived in Amstetten, Austria was imprisoned for life in 2008 after prosecutors proved he repeatedly raped his daughter, Elizabeth, over a 24 year period, forcing her to bear seven of his children.

Shockingly, it has now emerged that the man is actually related to a notorious Nazi.

According to several reports, he is the grandson of one of murderous Nazi leader Adolf Hitler's henchmen Ernst Kaltenbrunner.

Kaltenbrunner was the head of the Austrian SS and was the highest-ranking member of the SS to face trial at the Nuremberg trials.

He was found guilty and executed by hanging in October 1946.

And to make it even more disturbing, he was actually the childhood friend of Adolf Eichmann – the man who was seen by many as the right-hand of Hitler.

Landon has previously condemned his grandfather's actions when, in 2012, he told local news: “I strongly condemned my grandfather's actions, he was a criminal.

“No one took any notice of that.”

The same interview, with Mein Bezirk, claimed that Landon was a “journalist” who has previously spent time living in the United States and Dominican Republic.
