California earthquake: California and Nevada rocked by huge 6.3 quake – major city rattled

The quake is thought to have hit 211km northeast of Clovis in California, United States. It is believed to have struck at just after 11am UTC, (12pm BST). The huge earthquake was even felt in Fresno, California.
Witnesses recorded their experiences on earthquake-tracking website EMSC-CSEM.
One resident of Fresno, a major city of almost half a million people, said: “My bed was shaking and my TV was shaking.”
Another resident of the same city said: “My bed was shaking.”
A third Fresno resident said: “My first time feeling an earthquake this strong but the ground was defineltly shaking pretty strong.”
The earthquake struck around 140 miles from Fresno.
