PMQs LIVE: Starmer faces humiliation after leaked doc exposes desperate plan to oust Boris

PMQs: Boris Johnson accuses Starmer of ’twisting and turning’

The Prime Minister enters the Commons with a huge boost after a new study of the Oxford/AstraZeneca vaccine is most effective when the second dose is delayed. The research also indicates the jab reduces transmission, reducing how long the UK is likely to need to remain in lockdown.

At the same time, the leak of internal Labour Party memo gives the Conservative leader plenty of ammunition to tease and jest his opposite number.

In a humiliating leak, an internal strategy presentation said: “The use of the flag, veterans, dressing smartly at the war memorial etc give voters a sense of authentic values alignment”.

The report, seen by The Guardian, indicates how the party intends to try and win voters over in the weeks and years to come.

Mr Johnson is likely to use the document to mock Sir Kier Starmer at any opportunity possible.
