5 Teams We Want The Heat To Face In The Playoffs

The Miami Heat are looking poised to make yet another deep playoff run with a well-rounded and star powered lineup surrounded by solid bench pieces. A team like this can finish with a high enough playoff seed that they can follow lower seeds progression and try to win or lose certain games to gain a more favorable matchup. Which teams should they be looking closely towards? Which teams are the Heat looking to get a matchup with in the playoffs?

5. Milwaukee Bucks

The young Bucks surprised the basketball world by going from worst in the league to finishing with the 6th seed in the Eastern Conference. During this out-of-nowhere success, the Bucks swept the Heat in the regular season, capped off with a miraculous buzzer beater by Khris Middleton that broke the heart of every Heat fan, so much so that I don’t even have the heart to link it. The Heat are looking to redeem themselves after four very poor showings against the Bucks, and there’s no better place to show them who’s boss than the NBA playoffs. A lack of experience hurts the Bucks, who lack veteran experience, especially after losing savvy mentors like Jared Dudley and Zaza Pachulia. Miami can take advantage of this with their abundance of players not shy to the playoff atmosphere. The Bucks don’t know how to win yet. Their time is coming, but the Heat should look to make sure that time won’t come for a while.
